If you do not presently have a Fire Alarm System, please take note of the following information regarding Fire Safety and your responsibilities as an employer:
Under the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997, the legislation requires employers to
- "carry out a fire risk assessment,
- identify the significant findings of the risk assessment,
- provide and maintain such fire precautions as are necessary to safeguard those who use the workplace and
- provide information, instruction and training to employees about the fire precautions."
